Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is a British-American sitarist and musician. She is also the very first and youngest female to win the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was an Indian young sitar star. She's a child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was a child who bounded between London in the UK to New Delhi. Her debut concert was in New Delhi at the tender age of 13. In Encinitas the state of California, in 1999 she earned the high-school certificate. Anouskha is yet to be a mature woman but she has a very remarkable career in the field of recording and performing. She regularly accompanies her father on stage, which she's done for quite a few years. The year 1998 saw her dropped Anourag as her debut album as a solo artist. The Grammy-nominated Live at Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. Stage performance is a large part of her career. She's performed at many famous venues around the world. Anoushka Shakar was born in England was a major part of her adult life in London Delhi. When she moved to California she completed the high school. Anoushka Shankar started her musical studies when she was nine. After four years she performed her sitar debut in Delhi for her father's 70th birthday party. Anoushka's father toured around the globe with her, and she gained many experiences. When she was still teenagers, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall during Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concert. In the end, The House of Commons Shield was given an award from the British Parliament for being the most renowned Asian Arts musician. She is the only female and is the smallest recipient of the prize.
